Shakal came to the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) and said: Messenger of Allaah, how one amongst us should take a bath after the menstruation, and the rest of the hadith is the same and there is no mention of bathing because of sexual intercourse....

Husain (Allaah be pleased with them) reported Allaah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) having said to him or to someone else: Did you fast in the middle of Sha'ban? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Prophet) said: If you did not observe fast, then you should observe fast for two days....
